By the implementation of the Act to strengthen the complaint examination system of the health and
social services network, in particular for users who receive services from private institutions (Free
translation, the French language version of the Act remains true*), the Office of the Service Quality
and Complaint Commissioner of a public health and social services establishment is mandated to
examine complaints from users of designated private establishments on its territory.
